VEGETABLE TANNED ITALIAN LEATHER

It all starts with highest quality vegetable tanned Italian leather. Not "genuine" - vegetable tanned. It stands for "Natural product" - tanned with plant-based tannins; "Circular" - the waist is turned into raw materials for other supply chains; "Responsible" - controlled by Pelle Conciata al Vegetale in Toscana, which puts in the center environment, human rights, transparency and sustainability. Tuscany is a mecca and epicenter of tanneries where Tuscan traditions of tanning processes are considered to be the best in the world. It is incomparable difference to hold and to shape the highest quality vegetable tanned leather, instead of the poor one. It's soft, it's full grain, it's not coated with layers and layers of chemicals. It develops a nice patina over time, which only gives character and reveals the best of leather's features.

TOOLS & TECHNIQUE

Our crafts are fully handcrafted using traditional saddle stitch technique. We do not use prepared cutting dyes. Every step from sketching and cutting to sewing and burnishing is fully handmade. Every single piece is similar and different at the same time. And that's what makes them different from mass production. We respect leather crafting, we do not rush it, we take our time to learn and develop the best quality craft. Mastering our skills from the best teachers, investing in the best tools and natural materials we are confident in the end result of our careful work.

DURABILITY & CARE

Vegetable tanned leather is such a durable and forgivable material, if only it is treated right. It can and it will last a lifetime, when following these simple care rules. Regarding wear and tear - we make sure to test construction and stitching of each model, but if for some reason it it will fail - we will repair it free of charge. If the craft is due to some mechanical damage or other unexpected circumstances - we gladly can attempt to repair it at an additional cost.
